CAA L-2

hardware: 2 Point laser sensors, center unit with IMU and MCU
measuring range: 25 cm - 4000 cm
opening angle: 2 Sensoren with approx. 1° in 45° Anordnung
framerate: 500 Hz
distance resolution: 1 cm
weight: ca. 80 g
dimensions: 13 cm x 7 cm x 3,5 cm

CAA L+

hardware: 2 Point laser sensors
measuring range: 25 cm - 4000 cm
opening angle: 2 Sensoren with approx. 1° in 45° Anordnung
framerate: 500 Hz
distance resolution: 1 cm
weight: ca. 80 g
dimensions: 13 cm x 7 cm x 3,5 cm

The CAA L-2 includes a CAA L+ a the center unit. Per copter one center unit is required. The CAA L+ is an add-on for measurements in additional directions (front, rear, left, right).

Advantages

  • high measuring range
  • fast processing
  • sharp modelling possible

Distance Sensors based on laser pulses distinguish themselfes by high precision and speed in processing. Thus a very precise and stable flight even under difficult conditions such as turbulences become possible. The used lidar sensors are small and low-weight. Moreover come with up to 40 m measuring range and a distance resolution of 1cm.
