The integrated premium class T-Motors are highly durable, waterproof, dust-tight and corrosion protected. They are the perfect solution for demanding industrial applications.

Our intelligent patent pending landing spot detection technology captures images of the environment layer by layer, sidewise and below the delivery drone in real time with millimeter accuracy and in a maximum distance of approx. 50 m thanks to 5 laser sensors (4 of which swiveling sensors). The repetition rate of the environmental detection is 1,4 Hz.

It's premium flight control Pixhawk 2.1 is equipped with triple fully redundant calculation of the position consisting of one double redundant 10 DOF IMU and one 9 DOF IMU for maximum safety and accuracy of the flight position regulation. For this purpose vibration-absorbing (vibration-proof) 3x3 DOF accelerometers, 3x3 DOF gyroscope, 3x3 DOF magnetometers and 2 barometers are installed internally. What's more, 3 external magnetometers are additionally added to ensure trouble-free (undisturbed) and precise determination of the position.

GPS is realized by uBlox GNSS modules of 8th generation. These enable simultaneous reception in the amount of up to three GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDOU) to ensure the highest availability and accuracy of position determination worldwide. In addition, GPS is also equipped with safety functions such as detection of interfering signal, integrity- and spoofing detection.

The remote control of the delivery drone can anytime be done using two redundantly designed professional 2,4 GHz 16-channel Taranis X9D Transmitters - receiver pairs with extremely low latency. The remote control can be passed on by a simple handshake procedure or in case of failure fully automatically by the control system. The remote control meets the current standards of radio telemetry ETSI EN 300.328.V1.8.1 and offers high range, paired with highest reliability (and at the same time highest reliability) thanks to ACCST frequency hopping technology.

The Delivery Drone comes with its own User-Interface which offers you an intuitive surface for programming your delivery routes with minimal effort. Define your waypoint list directely on a geo-referenced map of the environment and change it easily according to your needs. Beside the programming of delivery routes, the user gains a quick overview about the correct function of the Delivery Drone's subsystems and thus can manage the safe operation instantly.

The fully redundant Telemetry / Telecommand interface combines at the carrier frequency of 433 MHz both the flight control (system) Pixhawk and the EMQ Control Board with the ground station of the pilot. This can be used to receive real-time data on the PC/ laptop/ pad while and to sending commands concerning waypoints and flight height.

Thanks to the intelligent EMQ Control Board the pilots can choose from additional features such as landing spot detection, fully autonomous navigation, dual remote control and obstacle detection with collision avoidance. The EMQ Control Board comes with an 10 DOF IMU and can also be used as an optional feature for flight control purposes.

Except from the motors, the electronics and a few special parts, the delivery drone consist entirely of ultralight and high-strength carbon for providing the best trade-off between robustness and energy efficiency.

The Full-HD video transmission(primary HD-Vid-Kit) is based on the Amimon Connext ProSight system and uses the carrier frequency of 5GHz for latency-free video transmission (26ms). The transmission range of the HD-Vid-Kit is measures up to 300m with 25mW capacity in ISM band. The primary HD-Vid-Kit includes a 720p30 HD Camera and a mobile 7" stand-alone display with HDMI connector to display the video images.
The Premium Delivery Drone includes the DJI Lightbridge V2 as redundant, secondary HD-Vid-Kit with a maximum range of 3 km installed by default. Various options for both HD-Vid-Kits such as dual video transmitters to two receiver monitors (start/finish) and with higher range up to a maximum of 3 km and better reception coverage are also available. Why are these high-quality redundant components installed?

The advantage of the installed components and our redundant design is the significant increase regarding safety and reliability of the delivery drone. During the landing the landing spot detection technology captures the area underneath the delivery drone and enables an autonomous landing in a courtyard and near obstacles such as houses and walls. The pilot is consequently relieved from handling and critical situations are less likely to occur.

Furthermore the redundant design of the components enables higher precision regarding steering, position and localisation. In addition, critical components may fail without crashing and accidents occurring. At the same time all critical components are designed with at least triple redundancy, so that even failure of up to two components can be compensated.

4 of 8 motors have to fail to make the delivery drone completely unmaneuverable (disabled). Thanks to the triple redundant IMU up to two IMUs may fail and with redundant GPS receivers, redundant remote control, redundant TM/TC interface and redundant video transmission, one component may fail, without the functions of position control, remote control, communication and video display getting lost. Even if two components fail under extreme circumstances, a safe landing is still possible thanks to downstream safety functions such as the FailSafe-function and the manual control. This is how crashes can be avoided and the highest possible technical security standard can be reached.

The two remote controls are provided for reasons of authority approval and for the case that the delivery drone can be flown on sight outside the visual field of the one pilot. This is how a double perspective flight is possible, which makes the approval procedure significantly easier and cheaper.

The delivery drone is capable of fully autonomous flights and compensates disturbances by wind automatically. It is optimized for up to a maximum distance of 3 km (aerial distance). The maximum speed of the delivery drone is approximately 70 km / h. This is also the maximum theoretical wind speed which the delivery drone can manage. We recommend operation with maximum wind speed of 15 km/h due to fall winds at house edges and gusts. The standard battery pack achieves a flight time of approx. 15 minutes. Larger battery packs and other modifications for longer flying time and higher range are also available.
