Patent for Intelligent Landing Site Detection System
PatentThe "Intelligent Landing Site Detection System" developed and patented by Dr. Nils Gageik makes fully autonomous flight possible from takeoff to landing. Systems can now land between buildings through precise situation awareness, autonomous obstacle detection and collision avoidance at the landing site.
Recently, we were notified by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office that the nine-month opposition period has expired and that the patent is now legally valid.
