Emqopter at the round table
EmqopterresearchprojectsafetytechnologyapprovalaerialroboticseventDroneTechExpertOn October 27, 2025, the round table “Drone Operation in Bavaria” took place in Munich. Representatives from business, research, and administration discussed improvements to the approval process and ways to further advance drone operations in Bavaria. A key aspect was how to simplify approvals, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and enable the spread of the technology in the future.
During the event, Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger presented the funding certificate for the project “SiXuM+” to Dr. Nils Gageik.
With SiXuM+ (Simultaneous Generative Exploration and Dynamic Modeling – Development of Data-Efficient AI Methods and Demonstration on a Drone with Safety Function), Emqopter is developing safety technologies of the future that will help simplify approval procedures and make drone operations safer and more efficient.
