As part of the SupervisorPilot project, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) invited Emqopter exclusively to the Innovation Day for SMEs in Berlin. At their own booth and on stage, Marvin Bihl, General Manager (fin.), and Maximilian Steppan, Customer and Product Support, presented the project results. Emqopter has developed a board for drones on which different controllers and a fallback switch can be embedded. In addition, the collision avoidance assistant CAA was integrated.
This development from the SupervisorPilot project is now used as standard on the LD Board in our Delivery Drone. In addition, the technology is also available independently of the Delivery Drone for other use cases in the form of the Fallback Board.
By developing a component that enables switching between different autopilots, Emqopter is thus making a decisive contribution to the fail-safety and reliability of autonomous delivery drones in urban airspace.
If you are interested in the Delivery Drone or the Fallback Board, please feel free to email us at info@emqopter.de
